October 3 Update

Greetings,

Wow, what a weekend. Great competition at the Heart of Texas and at the Olympia in Las Vegas.

Reports from our judges and staff regarding the Heart of Texas were very positive. They reported the competition was tough. Many great physiques in incredible condition found there way to the stage. I thank each of you for competing and for coming out to support the Heart of Texas and N.P.C. Texas.

While I missed the excitement at home, I did witness history in Las Vegas. For the first time in history we crowned four new champions and for the first time in 22 years the title of Mr. Olympia was lost on stage. It was truly an incredible weekend. More than 7,000 fans attended this gala event. I want to special recognition all the Texas Pro's who competed. My hat goes
off to each of you. One person that I would like to single out is Betty Pariso for placing 6th at 51! This is an incredible feat. You go girl!

Next up we have the Gateway Classic in Laredo. I spoke with Tony and Bernadette earlier today. They are excited and believe that this show will be bigger than their first year.

The John Sherman Classic is right around the corner, October 28th, 2006. The event will be held at the Reliant Center Event Area "E." This will be a contest not to be missed. On Sunday morning we will have the 1st Annual Figure/Fitness Symposium entry is only $25.

I look forward to seeing many of you in the coming weeks.

Train hard and demonstrate sportsmanship always.
